Real shrew skull artwork
A small simplistic love heart design.
This piece features a real tiny shrew skull that has been mounted onto a black heart coated in resin then mounted onto a larger wooden white heart. Please note this was my first piece using resin so it isn't perfect but it's a nice cute piece!
This artwork has then been mounted onto matte black Fabriano card, slightly off the background to give it a 3D effect. It is displayed in a 12x12cm black shadowbox frame with a black or white border.
 
My artworks are made with real bones sourced ethically/naturally through wild owl pellets. The bones are dissected from the owl pellets and then they are cleaned and whitened. Then they are sorted through meticulously into my bone boxes ready to use for art.
